The Rod of Seven Parts
What is now known as the Isle of Omen was once the administrative center of the Wizard King, who would later become the Lich King. What is now known as the Isle of Omen used to be a lot smaller. After the defeat of the Wizard King and the taming of Stormmaker, ((see The Midland Sea)) the island became overgrown with jungle. Over time, it also became overgrown with Living Dungeons. The Isle swells, and at times, seems to even pulse, with growth as new dungeons well up from below, adding to it’s coasts, mountains and pre-existing ruins. Sometimes they break away, and sometimes they break open, spilling their contents onto the Isle. Usually, the denizens of an exposed and opened dungeon fall prey to something else on the island, but every now and then, something slips away to become more powerful somewhere else.
Some say that’s where the Orc Lord got his start.
